Update from Dorset Police:

Officers searching for missing Bournemouth man James Rampton are pleased to confirm he has been located.

Dorset Police, 26th June 2023

Dorset Police are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in their ongoing search for a missing Bournemouth man. James Rampton, 47, has not been seen since Sunday, 11 June 2023, sparking concerns for his welfare.

Described as being five feet six inches tall, with a slim build, Rampton has shaved, thinning grey hair and is usually seen with facial stubble. He was last spotted wearing blue jeans and a blue top.

According to police enquiries, Rampton often frequents the Bournemouth town centre, Boscombe, and enjoys spending time at the beach. Inspector Wasey urged anyone with information about Rampton’s whereabouts to get in touch.

James has not been seen for a number of days now and we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

I would urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to please contact us.

I would also like to make a direct appeal to James if you see this to please contact us or your family and let us know where you are. We just want to make sure you are all right.
