Police are appealing for witnesses and victims after multiple cars were damaged in Sherborne on New Year’s Eve.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.15pm on Wednesday 31 December that a teenager was acting aggressively and breaking into parked cars in Littlefield.
Damage was caused to a number of vehicles during the incident.
Following enquiries by officers, a 14-year-old boy from Sherborne was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He remains in police custody.
Detective Inspector Rhys Griffiths, of Dorset County CID, said: “We know this incident may have caused some concern with residents in the area and there are number of victims who have had their vehicles damaged.
“I am keen to hear from any witnesses or victims, who have not already spoken to police and would also urge anyone who has captured the incident on doorbell cameras or other footage to please contact us.”
