Emergency services are attending a two-vehicle collision at the Manor Roundabout in Weymouth this afternoon.
The crash, which occurred on the A354 Weymouth Way, was reported to Dorset Police at 1.13pm today (2 January).
Traffic is backing up in the area with delays described as severe on travel monitoring websites. A witness reported seeing two police cars at the scene.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police said emergency services have attended and recovery of the vehicles is being arranged.
The force added there is currently no update in relation to any injuries.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and seek alternative routes where possible.
