Teenager in Shaftesbury caught riding a makeshift bike

Police officers were called to reports of antisocial behaviour near Great Ground, Shaftesbury.

A Police Constable and PCSO arrived to discover that a teenager has been riding a potentially-dangerous makeshift pit bike/trike around the nearby playing fields.

The young biker was stopped and a given a warning under Section 59 Police Reform Act, and was told to take the vehicle home.

Residents are being urged to report further issues to the police by calling 101 or reporting them online.
