Electric bike was stolen from a 75-year-old man in Poole

A man in his 30s was seen riding away on a £1,700 electric mountain bike which was left secured outside of W E Boone’s hardware store on the High Street, Poole.

The 75-year-old old victim came out of the store to find that the bike was missing at around 10.30am on Friday 22 May 2020.

The stolen bike is a Cube Acid One 500 hybrid electric mountain bike in charcoal grey with black saddlebags and a bottle holder and is worth around £1,700.

If you see a bike like for sale, please be weary that it could be stolen.

Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses and information:

We are making a number of enquiries into this incident and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the relevant time.

I would also like to hear from anyone who saw the bike being stolen, ridden away or has been offered it or seen it for sale anywhere.
