Poole medical centre invites patients to a drive-thru vaccine clinic

Flu vaccine

The Adam Practice in Poole is inviting patients to their drive-thru flu vaccine clinic.

Registered patients aged between 50 and 64 can book slots for Saturday 19th December, where the flu jabs will be administered between 9 am and 1:30 pm.

This year, as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government is providing these vaccinations to this additional 50-64 years age group. You do not need to have any underlying health conditions.

Patients who turn 50 before March 31 2021 are eligible to attend

Adam Practice spokesperson

These drive-through vaccination clinics at Poole Ferry Port for patients in this age range will enable patients to receive the vaccine in a safe manner, minimising exposure to other members of the public and with only minimal contact at your car window with staff who will be wearing PPE.

Adam Practice also confirmed that “up to 4 reservations can be made per booking” which will allow families or “bubbles” to book together. If you book separately but then would like to attend with a member of your family or bubble, you can simply attend together at either of the two booked times without the need to notify the Adam Practice.
