Figures from Dorset Council show that businesses in Dorset are receiving grants of £10,000 or £25,000 to help deal with the impact of coronavirus.
Business in Dorset have been able to claim a £10,000 grant if they own or rent a property that’s not subject to business rates payments (Small Business Rate Relief Scheme), or a £25,000 grant if they are a retail, leisure or hospitality business.
As of today (Monday 11 May), Dorset Council have processed over 6,842 payments, totalling more than £81.925 million given out in grants to Dorset businesses.
