North Dorset fashion retailer’s plea to shop on your local high street

Fashion retailer M&Co is asking residents in Blandford Forum to love local in support of the British high-street.

The department store, which has had a presence in the town for over 16 years, wants to encourage shoppers to support the local town centre and turn to traders close to home before travelling further afield.

The one-stop-shop in Blandford Forum is at the heart of the high-street and offers womenswear, menswear, kidswear, teen and homeware. From on-trend leather jackets and loungewear to cosy bedspreads and the perfect gifts for newborns and kids, you don’t have to leave your local high street to find fashion for your entire family.

The Blandford Forum Store also stocks two luxurious in-house brands, Sonder Studio and Khost Clothing, giving you that little bit of luxury not usually found on the local high street.

If you prefer to shop online, the store offers a free Click & Collect service and free returns in-store or at your local Asda supermarket.

We pride ourselves on good customer service, and what sets us apart is the personalised service customers get in-store. We know our customers love knowing their sales advisor’s name and the staff equally enjoy building wonderful relationships with every customer.

Covid-19 means many people don’t feel comfortable travelling on public transport or visiting busy city centres which is good news for shops in local town centres. We hope to encourage shoppers, who feel comfortable visiting stores, to do so in order to see the exciting new range we have for the autumn winter season.

With Christmas just around the corner, our gifting, partywear and winter accessories will be arriving in-store soon offering family fashion right on your doorstep.

Without the support from the local people in Blandford Forum we wouldn’t be able to continue trading on the high-street and appreciate every customer that has come through the doors during these difficult times.

Shoppers can also take advantage of the M&Co Loyalty programme in-store and online and earn points each time they shop. Additional benefits include birthday surprises, exclusive cardholder discounts and reward vouchers based on points.

Established in 1834 as Mackays, the Scottish family-owned business now has 195 UK stores and employs over 2,000 staff, throughout stores, the Glasgow based Operations Support Centre and London Buying Office. In addition to this, M&Co trades in international stores and concessions across eight different territories.
