Ellis Jones Solicitors “on the ball” as they move to Wimborne

Ellis Jones "On The Ball"

Dorset law firm Ellis Jones Solicitors has stepped up its support for clients and the community in Wimborne.

Highly experienced Partner Richard Tombs has moved from the firm’s Canford Cliffs office to head up its growing office in East Street, Wimborne.

In a double sponsorship boost, Ellis Jones has also continued its longstanding support for Wimborne Cricket Club and teamed up with the town’s football club for the first time.

Its nine-strong Wimborne office is one of five across the south coast with others in Bournemouth, Poole, Swanage and Ringwood. The firm, with more than 140 staff and 17 partners, also has an office in London.

Wimborne is a thriving town where the opportunities for business are good.

Our office has grown considerably since opening three years ago and we are aiming to expand further.

I am looking forward to helping the firm make an even greater contribution to the town as we move ahead.

Richard Tombs

Richard has more than 30 years’ experience and specialises in all aspects of commercial and residential property law.

Richard is a highly experienced lawyer who will build on the success of our Wimborne office.

We pride ourselves on being at the heart of the communities we serve so it’s a pleasure to sponsor the town’s cricket club once more and support Wimborne FC for the first time.

Local sides need support more than ever before in these challenging times and we wish them both the very best for the year ahead.

Nigel Smith, Ellis Jones’ Managing Partner

The town’s football club, nicknamed the Magpies, plays in the Southern League Premier South.

Our thanks to Ellis Jones for its sponsorship, which will help the club in its day to day running and to grow in the future.

Tony Grant, Chairman of Wimborne FC

All of Wimborne Cricket Club’s senior and youth teams bear the Ellis Jones name.

We believe in developing long term relationships within the club and the community.

Our partnership with Ellis Jones has gone from strength to strength and the firm’s logo across our shirts has become part of our identity. We’re very grateful for the firm’s continued support.

John Ridout, Chairman of Wimborne Cricket Club
