Ferndown based dog trainer, Justyna Marszalek is pleased to announce she has been shortlisted for the Animal Star Awards second year in a row!
Justyna is the founder, head trainer and behaviourist at Me And My Dog Academy.
Love for dogs was always there. I was born this way, but only discovered my destiny 5 years ago when I got my beautiful boxer puppy.
I was obsessively trying to find the best way to understand and communicate with dogs.

Through her journey, Justyna says that she has learned so much thanks to great courses, world-known dog trainers and behaviourists, but also from dogs and their owners. In fact, she said she is learning every day and will never stop because of how passionate she is about her job.
Making use of science, knowledge and experience, Justyna is dedicated to positive, reward-based training methods which have been proven to be most effective.
Me And My Dog Academy has been established in March 2019 to offer puppy classes, life skills courses, workshops, educational seminars, behavioural help, Mantrailing and dog training walks. In such a short period of time, Justyna says that she has “achieved more than I could dream of!”
I am recognised as someone making difference, someone who inspire dog owners to take action and turn their struggles into strength.
Witnessing how dogs change and reach their full potential is worth all my work. I share my life with four dogs: two Boxers, a Mini American Shepherd and a Pomeranian.

Justyna was nominated by her clients for the Animal Star Awards in the category of ‘Animal Behaviourist/Trainer of the Year’ and has made it to the final.
The awards ceremony was held virtually on March 28.
The Animal Star Awards was created by Mary Burgess back in 2016 as a way of recognising the amazing relationships created between humans and their animals.
This year is exceptional for Me And My Dog Academy! We have not only survived the pandemic, but we have also been listed as one of the Top 3 Dog trainers in Bournemouth by Three Best Rated.
